Ronald first recognized his love of art as a sophomore in high school. Under the guidance and inspiration of his art teacher, he produced a painting which earned him a blue ribbon in a statewide art show. With additional art classes, his talent continued developing throughout his high school years.
After graduating, Ronald pursued other careers until the age of thirty-nine. At this time he began the pursuit of this dream - being an artist. With no formal training, he began doing faux finishes and murals in homes and businesses in Nashville, TN. Simultaneously, he began painting and searching for galleries to display his work. As art sales increased, Ronald was able to phase out of specialty painting and concentrate his efforts on his art.
